Question 1

Are you NICEIC registered?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We are NICEIC registered, which means we can self-certify notifiable electrical work under Part P of the Building Regulations. Our roll number is displayed in the footer of every page and can be verified on the NICEIC website.

Question 2

Do I get a certificate after electrical work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Notifiable work, including consumer unit replacements, new circuits and rewires, is accompanied by an Electrical Installation Certificate or a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate. For rented properties requiring an EICR, we issue the formal inspection report.

Question 3

How much does an electrician cost in Coventry?

Accepted Answer

Costs depend on the job. Use the price estimator on this page for an indicative figure based on your specific requirements, or call us for a fixed-price quote.

Question 4

Do you carry out work in bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Electrical work in bathrooms is notifiable under Part P and must be carried out to the zone requirements of BS 7671. We are familiar with these requirements and issue the appropriate certification on completion.

Question 5

Can you attend the same day for an electrical fault?

Accepted Answer

For genuine electrical emergencies we attend as quickly as possible, subject to engineer availability. Contact us directly to check current availability.
