uPVC & Composite Door Repair in Bristol
uPVC and composite doors use multipoint locking mechanisms that are mechanically more complex than traditional locks and fail in ways that can leave a door either unable to lock securely or completely stuck. We diagnose mechanism faults, replace gearboxes and full mechanism sets, adjust dropped doors, and replace damaged handles and escutcheons.

Questions about uPVC & Composite Door Repair
My door key turns but the door will not open — what is wrong?
This is a classic gearbox failure. The euro cylinder is working, but the gearbox that drives the locking points has failed internally. The cylinder does not need replacing — the gearbox or mechanism does. We can usually complete the repair on the first visit.
Can you repair any brand of uPVC door?
Most multipoint mechanisms use standard interface sizes. We carry common replacement gearboxes and mechanism sets from the main manufacturers. Older or less common door sets may require a specific part to be ordered; we advise on this once we have assessed the door.
